It's such a shame that you feel that you have to go ADP. and it's strange too that this thread has been allowed to run for so long.Perhaps those that sent you the e-mail have realised that they've erred but are too ashamed to admit it publically.

That would be my guess, Nellie........the pattern seems to be - the community manager (or the stand-in) writes any old nonsense that they've been told to write......and when someone points out the complete illogicality of what they've said.....ignore it.

How do people derive any job satisfaction at all from that?
