Sturdy things these IPhones

Out for a ride on my monkey bike this afternoon, making the most of the sunshine, when I spotted something lying in the road. As I was parking the bike, a car ran straight over the thing in the road. When I got to it, it turned out to be an IPhone, still in working order, screen undamaged.

So I took it home and waited, couldn't fathom out the PIN protection on it, so couldn't call its owner.

In the end, the owners mother phoned, and got a bit frantic when I answered, especially as her daughter (the owner) was late getting home. I left my landline number for her to call back on, and later on the owner called round to collect it, very relieved, bearing a bottle of wine.

I was expecting a school girl, but turned out to be a middle aged lady. She'd had a puncture, and phone had got left on bonnet of car during the recovery process.
