Stockings or Tights..!

Do you think we are stretching it with this thread?

Very  Early  on  many  a   Sunday  morning  a  mate  leapt  out  of  bed,  tights  and  thin  shirt  on  over  his  jimjams,  then  full  track  suit,  or  boilermakers  overalls,  followed  by  full  waterproofs  &  waders  !!  If  he  still  managed  to  get  in  the  motor  he'd  be  away  for  a  few  hours  canal  fishing.  Then  he'd  turn  up  at  the  ground,  take  up  three  coat  hooks,  strip  down  &  on  with  the  footy  kit  for  a  brisk  90  minutes followed  by  a  glass  or  three.  Then  he'd  be  off  for  night  on  the  town,  hoping  nobody  saw  the  tights  etc  in  the  boot !  Nobody  ever  asked  him  if  he  normally  wore  the  tights  to  work,  tho !!

Not  for  the  mate  I  mentioned,  looked  like  the  model  for  Michelin  Man  (  Who's  name  I  have  forgotten  !)

I'll own up to wearing womens tights when I went sea fishing on boats in the winter and it was no fun when you wanted a Jimmy Riddle when the boat was pitching leeward side or not!.

I wasn't actually thinking of photos of blokes in tights (wasn't that Robn Hood?), far from it. Very far.

Stockings are so very '80's though - Kenny Everetts Hot Gossip, and anything Benny Hill of course. More good reasons to bring some 80's fashions back I think.

The physio when i was in hospital said she liked to wear stockings when she went out on a night out. My mind wondered and my imagination was also stretched.
