anybody know where the sun has gone?, terrible not seen it for nearly a week now, live in Lee on Solent area and it has been dank for over a week now , caravan looking very sorry for itself, but no way is it going out in this weather. Was going to get my patio heater out flash up the BBQ and have a nice steak to chear things up a little, but watched Meat: a threat to our planet on BBC1 last night, now not so sure.

Did it for me when a scientist in Texas had cut a hole in the side of a cow, inserted a sort of plastic tube so that he could check the contents of its stomach as it munched away on grass, all to do with green house gases, and some vet in the UK who has gone green whacked a chicken over the head with a lump of wood and then wrung its neck, ughhh!!!!, anybody else watch it ?

Probably a function of all that meaningless hot air churned out by politicians at the climate summits mucking up the weather patterns. Mind you, I did get a decent output on my solar panels yesterday and today is looking promising. It will make up for a lacklustre November.

At this time of year in this area (cold frosty) even if we do get the sun it is not long before it goes hazy with all the contrails (pollution)from aircraft that are overhead with Heathrow,Stanstead,Luton and London city airports all within less than 50miles +the other aircraft that are passing over from more distant airports in the uk and Europeyell

Sun is on holiday up here in Yorkshire, doing its best to be a blinding nuisance!😁 It’s so low at the moment, it’s difficult driving at times.

We haven’t eaten meat, including chicken for the last 35 years. I was brought up with smallholdings, allotments, Grandad was a quick chicken killer. It didn’t bother us as children watching fowls being drawn for Sunday dinner. They were well kept, treated with respect and had a decent life before death.

No sun here in Cheshire either, and it's only ten o'clock  wink

OH DEARIE ME  surprised,  and nobody noticed A B M  was posting at ten o'clock in the EVENING  .  sniffle sob yet another funny gone a-begging.

Still it's been sunny enough today to help thaw the bird baths out and bring out the robin to demand his morning treats wink

After 4 sunny days in S.Cumbria it's been dull and grey today, although the sun did try to put in a appearance just as it was setting so we got a red sky for a short while.Tomorrow promises to be better, hopefully.
