So sad....probably

I read today that a man was arrested in Morecambe because he was attempting to saw the leg off the statue of Eric Morecambe.  Apparently there was a lot of upset people - understandable - but I thought of what Eric would make of it - probably come on to the stage, in his flat cap, brown warehousecoat with his leg up and using a crutch and coming out with something outrageous
