In the quest to find a new van we encountered the following ad via the club site, which links to caravansforsale.co.uk.

A question to the seller resulted in an email with lots of detail which made me suspicious - when investigated via a number of channels this proved to be a scam.

The item is a Swift Charisma 565:- http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/CaravanClubApps/Applications/caravan-classifieds/details.aspx?id=796827&page=1

The seller is registered as:-

"Amy Sheppard" amy.sheppard@ccuri.co.uk

The address associated with this, at the time of  checking is the American Embassy in London !

The seller appears to be a professional scammer, previous reports include the sale of a Horse Box !

Anyway, for-warned is fore-armed - I hope the Administrators can assign this to the correct discussion and investigate if required.

regards
