Top of the list...Bristol. Heaven help you if you get in the wrong lane and need someone to let you get over!!!
Write your comments here...We encountered a red transit van in Bristol on our way to the Balloon Fiesta last month. We were not in the wrong lane but he was and got alittle annoyed to say the least when he could not get in in front of us..he got behind us however, then overtook us, then pulled right in front of us at a fast speed braked hard, skidded and nearly rammed the car in front of him. He got out shouting abuse at us quite aggressively as if it was our fault..we just said sorry mate..twice lol.. which only made him worse cos he obviously wanted an argument and we were not prepared to give it to him..normally we would of had a few words but we were not going to spoil the start of our long weekend.

A few years ago I was towing across central London as I had promised my wife a trip down Oxford Street. At that time most of the essential direction information was given by painting words and symbols on the carriageway, which is really stupid as it cannot be seen in heavy traffic. Needless to say I was very much in a "wrong lane" and no-one was going to let me out but all were willing to join in horn sounding and shouting in the quaint local accent.
Then a long distance coach actually stopped in the outside lane to let me out. Complete halt - driver waving his hand and all. I was most appreciative, and it was only once past the junction where the coach was able to overtake that I saw it was operated by "Scottish Omnibuses", an Edinburgh based company. My Land Rover had an Edinburgh registration mark.
Perhaps we were the only two Scotsmen in London that day.

If you want to see bad driving, try coming to France!
But in the UK I find that around London (including on the M25) is one of the worst areas. I put it down to the lack of practise (due to there being so much public transport available there) and........well......their natural rudeness.

They are all cities, must move to a more rural spot where the rush hour consists of one car and two tractors.
Rural rush hour Nuggy?, now there's a misnomer if I ever heard one
Write your comments here...Ok R2B, perhaps the rural chug hour, no, 10 minutes. I was in Shropshire recently, near Ludlow in the Clun Valley and it was beautifully peaceful. None of the rudeness of cities.

Nuggy, I live in the rural East Riding of Yorkshire, this time of the year I add on an extra 10mins to get anywhere as there's always-Combine harvesters, Tractors moving between fields with humungous ploughs attached, Trailers laden with bales of straw.
In late Summer it'd be quicker in the city. I'd not live anywhere else mind

Write your comments here...Perhaps you forgot to mention tourists like me who have all the time in the world. Ooops sorry in advance but it's nice to see the scenery.
