we have a  ford near us at the side of Rufford park, been up this morning to take the dogs a walk and, lo and behold there is a car stuck in the ford, although there are signs saying road closed, also a barrier half way across the road. This isn't the first time this as occurred and the car park attendant says he will not be the last today. How these drivers pass their driving test I don't know because the indications are they cannot read or use common sense. Last year there was one car in there and the water was upto the roof, the drivers must think that cars float. Anyone got any ideas why people are so daft?

Write your comments here...if you can get YTV or BBC Look North you may see a report that in North Yorkshire  a Stephensons coach full of school children drove past a Road Closed sign today and it got caught in deep flood waters.Emergency Services had to rescue the pupils from the coach which was in danger of capsize. The mind boggles! An investigation is to take place....

Write your comments here...yes just seen it on tv. Wonder if that driver will keep his job.

I'd prosecute him for carless driving at the very least, even reckless - endangering life multiplied by however many children were on the bus.

He certainly wouldn't be driving school buses anymore.

Saw this on tv too, can't think what possessed the driver to attempt to use the road. Perhaps he needs his eyes testing too
