Interesting warning from the letters page of our local paper about returning to a camera controlled car park. The car park concerned was owned by Homebase and the parking limited to two hours, the car park is controlled by cameras by a parking company. The driver concerned entered made a purchase and left within about thirty minutes. Returned home and later found he still needed something to complete the job returned to homebase made a second purchase but on leaving was in excess of the two hour limit started by his earlier entry. A fine of £100 landed on the door mat including photo`s of the first entry and final departure. Fortunately he says has both receipts and is in process of appealing!
