TW, as my attempts to reply to you in the  'London Airport' thread seem to be mysteriously blocked, allow me to answer you here:

Er,  we *are* talking about the CC?

I ask because all this 'pitch where you will' appears to be the anthithesis of CC procedure!

There is a site that we like very much - by a river (no hook ups other other fol de rols), level ground, and no irksome restrictions on how you site your caravan.

They also cater for rallies, and upon arriving last August BH, a rally was being established in the designated area.

I didn't know *who* the ralliers were - but, when walking the dog,  it became clear that the precisely marshalled vans,  (each jockey wheel not 10cm out line!) meant only one thing.

Caravan Club!

And so it was! - the only surprise was that the Centre oganising this particular shindig allowed the music to continue until well after 12pm, after which came lots of shouting, and cars being driven across the site!

Caravan Club, or not, they were Oiks!

The site in question was Haxey Quays (near Gainsborough) and date was August  B/H 2014.

Whatever 'Centre' was resonsible - you are anti-social morons!
