I had both hips replaced within 6 months of each other.2 days in hospital,3 weeks on crutches and away you go.I have never had pain since the days of the operations, brilliant job.The hardest thing for me was wearing those ruddy stockings and sleeping on my back. BEST OF LUCK.

Write your comments here...My best mate thought I looked a "right tart",so he took a photo to show the rest of the guys. My day will come, as he is going to have his knee done soon. Hope your Dad is OK and up and running.

Maybe going home today will have to wait until my inr is  back around 12.00. Getting better but still very stiff, it is so hot in this hospital can't wait to get home and have a decent cup of tea and some proper food.
