Now that the Caravan Club has decided to do away with the Red Pennon as its emblem I wonder what they might now decide to call the Red Pennant insurance and how they might wish to promote it?

Just got mine, the documentation and covering letters are about half and half old name and new, but who cares I will be on that boat shorty and the name of the Club will be the last thing on my mindsmile

Hi AD,drove past a site, with new signs, and a CL with the old this week but still managed to get on with what I was doing!

Have a great trip and I hope the rain stays away from Larrouleta!

I don't see any need to change the name,as it's just a name, in fact it would be silly to do so as it's so well known. They don't have use the Pennon, it actually only appears twice in the brochure I have so it would be easy to replace with the new logo.

That is what many thought about the caravan Club David. laughing

We were wrong about that also as the name is old fashioned and a name change offers so much improvement as most will have noticed.

No, the Club name change is very different and was fine with me. It reflected the likely change in demographics that the Club will undergo in the coming years. Red Pennant is a service and as such I can see no reason for it to be called anything else because it does not reflect in its name what sort of outfit you have. The Club may have other ideas of course!!!
