After 33 years of touring in France my wife and I decided to leave the 'van in storage in France near the site we have visited for over 30 years. It was a mistake and for a variety of reasons ,mainly health related, we want to bring the van back to the UK. We live just to the south of Preston in Lancashire. The caravan is in storage on a farm 30 mile south of Nantes . The town nearby is Machecoul in Loire Atlantique and I'm hoping that some of our fellow club members can suggest an economical way of bringing the  caravan home. The van is in perfect working order and was serviced exactly a year ago

many thanks in advance Geoff Heaney

Unless one of your family/friends will pick it up & deliver it to you(which may be dodgy) it’s a low loader company & depending on what the van is worth may be cost restrictive.

Geoff

You could contact the Club's Overseas department to see if they could put you in touch with recovery companies. I also think they have a group of members who are willing to travel abroad to bring outfits back when for some reason the original driver has been incapacitated. Whether either method would be economic it is hard to tell.
