I know I should have posted this a few weeks ago when the last Defender rolled off the production line. But I just found this photo of our Defender - reaching fields that other cars couldn't. And it's not a bad shot of our heifers and a threatening sky.
And I don't know which section to post it - under Towcars? Well, it does tow a cattle trailer.

Yes, as V9 says an iconic vehicle. I suspect that in contrast to many others, they will hold their prices very well now that they are out of production.
I didnt realise just how much they have improved over the earlier varients until my friend, - also a CC member, bought a fairly recent Silver coloured LWB with the Ford Engine installed. (They have the slightly bulged bonnet top to ensure clearance.) The interior is now less agricultural but still fit for the harder work they are normally called upon to do.
A sad loss. LR will have to work very hard to design and produce anything so functional.

I wonder if they will go along the line of the UTs such as the L200 or the new Ford Ranger, as they seem to the vehicle to have for a lot of farmers.
