Whilst listening to the conversations on the Jeremy Vine show about the Glasgow bin lorry driver I thought I would just share this with you all.
On Wednesday morning this week as I was driving out of our village I passed a small HGV delivery type lorry driven by a man who whilst doing 30/40 mph he was filling up the small cup from a thermos flask as he was driving. Flask in one hand cup in the other and forearms on the wheel!
Some habits of today’s drivers are beyond belief. We have been used to seeing people regularly on our continental travels this year reading and writing as they drive. Using the phone seems to be a regular sight, including texting! But this was a new one on me. What strange things have you seen drivers do lately? Regards, Roy
