One of my proudest possessions since 1982 has been my Pit Deputies Yardstick, which i was given one day up in Derbyshire by some people I had helped. But in recent years I have started to use it as a walking stick as my Arthritus of the spine got worse.
Sadly the Copper & Brass ferrul at the bottom has fallen off and become lost, and I cannot find another suitable. Copper piping is too thin.
Has anyone got a Pit Deputies Stick that they no longer want? Have just been outbid on E bay
