Its bad enough these days with these cold callers and fund raisers but last night at approx 7.30pm just as we were settleing down to watch the telly there,s a knock on the front door and standing there in the dark is a woman from the RSPCA. "Good evening sir sorry to bother you but have you got time for a chat" i said "do you realise what time it is and no its not convenient to have a chat" she says "Oh well if its any better i can come back in an hour " Surprised i dont know about others but if your going to knock on my door at that time you had better have a dam good reason.

Are these people for real.

Write your comments here...Volvoman, I have the perfect answer in my mind to these time wasters that ask if I have time for " a few questions" etc I say yes I have but must establish that my charge is £25 PER HALF HOUR , WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTINUE.?. they soon hang up  or happily walk away.. SG2

We are very lucky, we are so remote no one bothers with us. I DID get a phone call the other evening tho telling me that that they had been notified that I had had an accident (familiar ?). I asked the caller on which particular date? She very very quickly ended the call even though I asked her not too; I wanted to discuss further
