If you are working today and paid a yearly salary then today you're working for nothing! According to the BBC website:

There are campaigns for 29 February to become a bank holiday.... the average salaried person loses £113.

That's another £113 I've saved by being retired. Thanks, Corners.

Not if you get a workplace pension, as they don't give you any more for the extra day. However, the state pension I think is paid every 28 days, so you are paid, if you qualify.
