Oh what a beautiful morning

Just back from a stroll with the dog.  What a lovely day. Pale blue sky, not a cloud to be seen, Strong sun and not a trace of wind.  Only sounds were the cries of the geese as they headed south and the water cascading over the stones in the small river. Temperature just above freezing.  What a totally peaceful scene. The views over the fields and woods are excellent

All this within a few minutes of home.

Ah the joys of living in the countryside ----so relaxing.

We live in a stunningly beautiful country. Being a mitorhomer or caravaned enables us to visit places we may not otherwise.

Write your comments here...Entertainment laid on for not a penny Kennine! - I agree- Caravanning has taken me to some stunningly beautiful places in the UK. Not lucky enough to to live in the countryside but  lucky enough to appreciate the beauty of this small island.

Couldn't agree more. We got back from 2 weeks in Gran Canaria yesterday teatime. The drive up from Edinburgh was lovely the sun was shining the sky blue and the trees putting on quite a show, especially the ones North of the Inveralmond roundabout on the A9 quite amazing colours. We truely are blessed living in this country.

We all live in a wonderfull group of Islands ,with a change of scenery every few miles, and flora and fauna to match,

We have at the bottom of the "valley" where we live, a beutiful chalk stream that runs into "our" lake which is also fed by springs and teems with wildlife, including Water voles./little Egrets and very rare is an otter seen,on top of the Deer that are getting seen more and more Smile

Have to agree getting out for a walk whether from home or a pitch on site really makes me & the OH appreciate what we have in the countyside especially as the weather has been great today. We saw a flock of long tailed tits, a buzzard & 2 deer.

Went for a walk in the Derwent valley near Hathersage, Derbyshire yesterday - we only did 6 miles of low level walking along the valley by the river but it was beautiful. Glorious weather, saw the season begin to change and...watched a kingfisher! Wow moment!

Last sail of the official sailing season, glorious colours in the trees on the mountains, birds heading south, the sun reflecting on the loch. Ok not much wind but what a fantastic country we have!Happy

We've had the low life's at our sailing club. Thirteen boats broken into. That's in addition to five at another club in the harbour a few nights ago. Yell

Not so nice this morning fly fishing on Clywedog. Very strong East Wind, temp in the single figures. Time for Long Johns
