Just got back from a day at Meadowhall and there was an envelope waiting for OH who has renal kidney failure, but not quite yet on dialysis.  It was from the hospital saying that they wish to put him on the transplant list.  Anyway, it stated there was various tests to do which includes nuclear somethingorother for his heart.  Will he:

a)  have blue minature mushroom clouds about his person; and

b)  be stopped entering all countries that has blocked North Korea's test of a nuclear bomb because he may be sympathetic?

Your comments would be welcomeHappy

OH had it some years ago, was not allowed near Grandchildren but the only "glow " was from "hot flushes"Wink

Can't comment, are you serious about a and b???  Who sent the letter?  Is it a wind up?

Sorry Bakers2, not a wind-up.  Its from the MRI in Manchester.  At least if he glows in the dark, I may be able to read my Kindle (I don't have paperwhite)Happy

I often wonder about those barium meals. Do you end up with glow in the dark poo?

That would be interesting?

Oh sounds like the 'cure' is not a very nice experience and that's only a few things at the beginning.

I do wish your OH well.  Life can be very trying at times.  Fingers crossed for OH to make the transplant list.  Thinking of you both whilst you make your deliberations and for the future.
