New £97 million computer

I see that the Met office is to have a new £97 million computer to improve their forecasting.

Anything would be better than the pine cone on the managers desk, and the seaweed hanging out of the window as is currently used, but I think the money could be used better elsewhere.

Take a look at the BBC weather link, it is hardly ever right, and to try and forecast 5 days in advance is a joke, as it changes several times a day.

As a keen motorcyclist, now getting on with a dislike of the rain, I am fed up at the forecasters saying it will be a dry day, only for me to get my bits wet around the Brecon area!
