Negativity

Her Ladyship went to town yesterday and bumped into an ex work colleague of hers who enquired after her health saying she had heard she had been unwell. So my wife told her yes, she had had bowel cancer and had part of the bowel, plus part of the liver removed along with chemotherapy. This persons reply was to tell her that her brother had the same disease three years ago but he died two months ago. She said it finally got him in the end.

What is it with these brain dead people? Are they intent on spreading negativity? I, along with many others, spent 18 months being positive for my wife and during this time I did my best to shield from known doomsayers but four did get through the net.

Why on earth don't they stop to think before engaging their big gob (sorry I'm annoyed) unless they have nothing to think with.

No doubt others have experienced this and these type of people will continue to walk the earth spreading their doom and gloom but it is annoying when we try to be positive for loved ones and they can undo it all with just one word.

Rant over but still makes me fume when I think about it.
