Noted the owner of a motor caravan take his toilet cassette out and put it under his waste outlet, he says he has always done it as it saves carrying a seperate waste container, so each morning after the night's use he fills it from the waste water tank ,then empties it all down the ccep ready for next use ,and carries a watering can on same trip to top up fresh water tank on return he says it saves him £3.90 a day and he does not have to keep moving his holiday homecool

Must be a big cassette if it holds as much as a wastemaster. Leaving aside the normal contents, there must only be about 12/15 litres available for grey waste. Probably works OK on a site where the toilet block/washing up area is normally used.

Well established practice JVB, surprised you have not spotted it before.

I can think of a much simpler way of saving £3.90 a night, don't use serviced pitches and carry a collapsible bucket  or small waste water container and the cost of toilet chemicals will be at least half  compared with emptying every day

See above wink

Toilet chemicals or maybe bio tablets are what normal people use in thier cassette  to break down waste and overcome smell!  Seems you have never heard of the practice and you are not alone I have sonetmes been unfortunate  enough to follow such people to cdp.

One other odd use of a waste water container, that I have seen, is a transport for a vivacious young lady who fancied herself a the next Ben Hur.

Granddad was towing it back to his van whilst young missy (riding the footplate, as it were) was shouting 'Faster -faster'.
