More madness

Our son has a full time job but to supplement his wages and to help pay the mortgage he runs the bar at elderly residents complex three nights, Friday, Saturday and Sunday plus special occasions which he has done for four years. We know some residents from there and they say everyone speaks highly of him. Once a year he has to attend two courses, one Health and Safety and the other Food Hygiene. These he has managed to do in the past having to give up a day of his annual leave to do so. This year he is finding it difficult to get a day off from his regular job that fits in with the Food Hygiene course. Because of this the complex manager has given him an ultimatum of attending the course by a given date or he will have to finish despite having no complaints about his work. What food does he sell that warrants him losing a days leave or getting the sack? Packets of crisps. That is it. Not even bags of peanuts. What I do know is that there will be an uproar if they do get rid of him because the old dears love him.

As I said, more madness that permeates this country today keeping jobsworths in employment doing nothing constructive.
