Thinking it’s about time to change the mattress on our bed at home and wondered if anyone had brought one like the  ‘Emma’ which is advertise on TV, a hundred night trial and if not satisfied just return.

if you have purchased similar what’s your view.

Thanks in anticipation

I love a memory foam type mattress but OH prefers one with springs, so our answer to this was to have a sprung mattress with a memory top.

First mattress that we have not had to turn over, just top to tail required. Not sure if it will stand up to the test of time as we have always turned them to give even wear.

Best sleeps I've ever had was on a memory foam type mattress in Lanzarote a few years ago. At first I thought it was going to be to hard, however when I woke up in the morning in the same position that I went to sleep I soon changed my mind smile I rarely sleep through the night.

Still using the same d/b as when we got married. Turn the mattress round /over every year and no need to oblige the advertisers by replacing it.

If it is still comfortable then keep using it.

I hate a soft mattress. We have ,what to me, is a soft mattress on the bed in our spare room. Those that have used it have often remarked how comfy it is. We are all different it seems. The first time that Fliss stayed over she flopped onto the bed and damn near winded herself. laughing

You might consider visiting ‘The Bed Factory’. Which is a franchise with shops nationally. They offer a wide rage of mattresses and will cover the one of your choice, in a fabric of your choice. It’s the scale of their choices which impresses me along with staff knowledge about their products, for our local branch at least.

We always say how comfy these are, apparently Lenny Henry swears by them.

One of the important aspects of a mattress other than comfort is the support at the side walls, these have that too.
