Mattress, confusion.

Over the last week we have been visiting various bed stores trying to select a new mattress. What a confusing overkill of choice there is. Firmness is ranged from 1-5, with 5 being the firmest, then you have construction, the older continuous spring or the newer pocket sprung. If you overcome those choices you then have the choice of top layer cushioning, this can be memory foam, standard foam, woven natural fibres, latex, virgin lamb’s wool [made from the sheep that run the fastest]. The finishing fabric also comes in a host of options. Why is it that today we need so much choice in everything, have you looked at the toothpaste selection lately? It does not help when you are Neveramsure and are allergic to spending money.

Do we really need so much choice in everything?
