Looking for Sue and Ellen

I am writing as I am trying to get in contact with a very nice British couple we met in Spain. If I recall correctly they mentioned that they are members of the club and that the club organized their trip through Spain. Their names are Sue and Ellen and they life in Cumbria, south of the lake district on the cost, near Rampside, if I am right. The surname could be something like Lenard(e), Legart. We met each other in the Sierra Nevada on a campsite south of Granada, called “Las Lomas”.  We visited the Alhambra on the same day, the 10th of April.  We spent a very enjoyable evening together and agreed to meet end of July at their place. Unfortunately I lost my mobile phone together with their contact details. Therefore I would be more than happy, if someone could forward this to Sue and Ellen, so that we get in contact again.

Many thanks in advance and kindest regards,

Hiya Doc. Not all members, in fact, very few members compared to the size of the membership use CT so don’t hold your breath. I read the thread and was thinking ‘what about data protection?’ That seems to have been raised. I hope you are successful

We have just this afternoon picked up your post in the Caravan Club Chat Room where you have tried to contact us. Sorry about the delay in responding but we do not usually look at the chat room. A friend of ours in the East of England spotted it and ‘phoned us today.

From what you say you are probably in England now and we would be delighted if you get in touch as we would love to see you. The photograph was taken in the Plaza Major a day or so before we met you at Los Lomas.

Sue and I have fond memories of our evening spent together with the two of you in our caravan on a cold and wet evening.

I have emailed you at the address given and we look forward to hearing from you when we can make arrangements depending on where you are at this time.

Best wishes,

Allen and Sue

Glad you found each other, I wouldn't have put money on it as it was such a long shot!!! See what you miss if you don't use Club Together on a regular basiswink
