Liverpool a city of culture.

I live in a small rural village near Hull that is to be the city of culture.

We are staying on the Wirral at the moment and yesterday spent our time in Liverpool, the little we saw of this city really gave us the 'wow' factor, its waterfront area, the architecture etc left me very impressed.

Hull has one heck of a battle and I firmly believe it cannot live up to its expectations, so little time to turn it from being boring into something worthwhile yet it has history and culture but street music and entertainment seem to be its limit, so sad I think the councilors need to visit Liverpool to see how its done.

Definitely going back soon, as we only scraped the top of the cake. Liverpool is a place to visit but Hull is a place you pass through onto somewhere else.

What are others opinions.
