Late night posts, ???? insomnia

I am amazed by the amount of posts that are done in the early hours, are you supposed to be working a night shift or just a mad insomniac like me. I have never needed much sleep and now because of various medical conditions manage on an average of around 30 hrs per week. I sleep better when I am cold and when away with the van usually sleep in the awning, once scaring the wife and granddaughter who thought I had died after sleeping for 11hrs with a night temperature of minus 8 and that was at Whitby at Easter a few years ago.  the Dr has tried me on sleeping tablets and I've added the odd bit of alcohol, but can only say it didn't cure the problem but did take my mind off it for a bit.
