As the title says tomorrow will be the last time I work on New Years Day, gave my employer my notice to leave at the end of January, now for some relaxation. I have worked since my 15th birthday and have had a very varied career ladder, firstly in the motor trade then the Para's out of that 1985 and  from being a Para I became a Paramedic. I left the Ambulance service after 15yrs  when it became apparent that there were too many chiefs and not enough indians and followed my love of cooking by becoming a Chef, so I worked my way up the ladder and eventually became Head Chef at the ripe old age of 54. Now after 6 yrs of leading the team its time to hand over to someone younger. So here I sit with some sadness looking forward to some relaxation with my wife and Grandkids in the caravan, the oldest at 19 is just finishing her training as a Pastry Chef, and take it from me she is good.
