Who remembers the fine old British Car company Jowett Cars Ltd?
They made the wonderful Jowett Javelin, the sports Jowett Jupiter and the Cranky old Jowett Bradford van.
The javelin, a four door saloon with an advanced flat four engine, was very well finished for its day but the company was too small to survive in the post war competative era, and they went to the wall in the early 50's. The quality design & build showed for many rears after that and theywere still about until the late 60's.
