Well ,we started off the year as caravaners but  are now motorhomes smile

we've laughed and cried together on CT, and I don't remember being sent to the naughty step innocent

we were promised a "Ferrari" of a web site ,but got a Skoda onewink

But the main thing is that we are here to help and be there for each other, and when you look what is going on around the world ,then we don't do so bad

So, what will next year bring ?????.............happy holidays ,that's whatcool

In the big scheme of things HD it ain't a bad existence reallylaughing. If we just continue with little niggles in our lives then 2017 is something to look forward to. Keep the glass half full & it will never seem as bad as what it first looks like.

Life is good with the occasional blip and, in the grand scheme of things, forums and websites matter not a jot.

Here's to 2017 - may it be good for us all. smile

Yes, it's been another good year........we've had some excellent weather and some brilliant holidays in the caravan.

Agree on the web site........looks a bit different but seems to work far worse than ever. That's IT people for you. Enjoy themselves playing around with IT things, but don't make it work any better.

Agree that it's great to be able to get advice, and to help fellow caravanners / motorhomers though......and to maintain such great friendships with people across the internet wink

The only snag with a glass half full is that you have to keep topping it up!

Cheers.

Its been a good year I suppose - witness that I am still here embarassed!  However it has been pretty extreme in family emergency bailouts - and they are all still here too so that must be good.  The caravan has been extremely useful for most of those emergencies especially the one in Brittany.  Thank for so much advice from great CTers.

As a former Skoda owner I don't think this forum is up to those high standards - maybe a Lada would be a better/worse analogy?  I do hope CT can be tweaked to our expectations - and I think it should be the Stickies that are the first thing to be addressed/re-instated.

Back in 1991 I had a tough year - and early in 1992 someone told me the New Year couldn't be worse for me - I shuddered when she said it - and it was FAR worse - my son had an accident in January and was in hospital 300 miles from home for 15 months - so I am not keen on tempting fate.

Happy Times to Everyone.

Great positive post. Life is too short to worry about minor niggles as they always get sorted given time.  Dodgy knees I'll cope with. Glass will probably be more than half full over New Year. Enjoy.
