We have been keen caravaners over fifty years and the growth of people taking dogs seems to me getting out of hand. This year we have seen people with up to four large dogs.

There are dogs let out early in the morning and this year we have had to pick up dog poo three times.

We sit in our van and watch people bring the dogs onto our pitch and watch them have a pee.

The smell of dog urine for the rest of the stay is horrible.

Do we say anything.  The answer is no because of the foul response we would get.

When you actually speak to other non dog owners they have similar thoughts.

I think certainly that the club should have a limit of two dogs.

I await the vitriolic remarks that this post will bring but I do think a sensible compromise should be made.

I'm sure a champion will be along soon to close down the can of worms and refer everyone to the caravanning with dogs thread Wink

As a dog lover and owner I do see where your coming from , we to have witnessed some have having 3 to 4 dogs and one time 5 admittingly 3 were small , I suppose it would be like saying how many children they can bring Undecided but it really all boils down to not so much how many dogs as more to do with how many very BAD dog owners there are , but I'm sure I would mention to owners and wardens if fouling on my pitch by there dogs became a habit
