Occasionally, posters make a joke about teacher's short working hours and looooooooong holidays on here.
But we must give credit where credit is due.
There is a school here in West Lothian ( one of the top two) where teachers have been giving of their free time on a Monday night to assist those pupils who wish further study to achieve good exam results.
From 15.30 to 17.00 hrs those pupils are given excellent additional tuition.
This shows dedication and commitment to the students by the teachers in that school and they should be recognised as an example to all.
How do I know this.-- I collect my Grandson at 17.00 hrs and take him home as there are no school buses at that time.
