Dave, don't take your finger off the keyboard once the options appear or they will vanish again. Slide your finger from the down arrow button onto Dock & Merge.

Got it back to normal,problem appeared after a software update I've not bothered doing till now,again thanks to all for your advice much appreciated

Glad you got it back Dave. I've not had that happen after an update but you can see how easy it is to inadvertently catch the button and activate split keyboard.

If you turn Split Keyboard off in settings it should prevent accidental activation from the keyboard.

Thanks for the info TW. Never new it did that, although not sure I will use it as prefer to type with finger. The undock button which puts the keyboard half way up the page had me confused for a while though.

It's not for me either, Steve, but it's handy to know.
