I don't believe it...

It's not often that I really say that but this story just left me speechless.

Paramedics say they have been left shocked by a note left on an ambulance windscreen telling them not to block a driveway.

The note read: "You may be saving lives but don't park your van in a stupid place and block my drive."

I do hope the writer that note never has to use the paramedic for himself or his family, but if she/he should I am pretty sure they would want them there asap and not looking for a place to park?

not  necessarily, just saying that we do not have enough info to condem the complainer, one way or the other

well the complainer didn't know what was happening either but still left that note.

Perhaps I am old fashioned but whenever I see an ambulance or fire engine anywhere I would never complain about how they drive or  indeed where they park. They give first aid, help people and save lives. Any of those things in my book gives them all the permission they need.

You say that  People may have appointments, children to collect. are more important than any of those? Those people are unharmed and alive. All that will happen is that they will suffer a slight inconvenience.

I am very careful about parking, and haven't annoyed anyone in over 60 years of driving.  Not clever - just brought up to be considerate towards others.

I see that the person the paramedics were attending to died the following day in hospital.

Hope the neighbour isn't going to the funeral.

I was once blocked in by an ambulance ......wife was on her way for a hospital appointment, Explained at hospital if the ambulance would have done a BOGOF deal and taken my wife as well! gave them a laugh!!
