Yesterday got a message to say Waxwings spotted in Lowestoft. So camera, bins, waterproof and off I go.  Get to area they were spotted, parked and scout round with no success.  Saw finches, tits, seagulls and sparrows. Evan took some pics.  After half hour decided to go home so walking back to the car could see a police car approaching with blue lights flashing, and yes they stopped and got out.  Hullo hullo I think we've got him Fred!  After a brief conversation and showing photo's on my camera  we determined I wasn't the prowler reported by the zealous neighbourhood watch person.  Can't believe that one of the officers used the hullo hullo opening gambitTongue Out Anyone else had similar run in?
