How often do you clean your car ?

When I was a lad, and a new Mini was my pride and joy, it was washed and polished several times a week.

My elderly neighbour used ti wheel his BMW 2002ti out of his garage every Sunday, regardless if he'd actually used it that week, washed, leathered and polished, then put away again.

These days, my interests and hobbies are wider ranging, and the car gets treated as (literally) white goods. Lucky if it gets washed more than 3 or 4 times a year, polished with Autoglym maybe annually. If all else fails, the dealer usually valets it at the annual service. It lives out doors, so rain plays a part in keeping it clean.
