when I left school I wanted to be a chef but my parents had just split upand therefor I had no support, so I went into the motor trade. That job has its own dangers but non like my next job as a Para from that to Paramedic which you would have thought was safer than the previous. On leaving that I was already a qualified driving instructor/ examiner and did that for several years until I retrained as a Chef, finishing my working life as a Head Chef, all of these jobs had their own particular dangers but in reality should have been safer than my second choice, in fact I was placed in more dangerous situations on the Ambulance service and as a Chef. Apart from losing finger ends a Chef is also at risk of slicing through the Femoral artery when boning meat which I've known to prove fatal. As a soldier I expected that I may get shot at but never thought about it happening to a Ambulanceman. So what tell us about your hidden dangers.
