Heroes and Heroines!!

Sometimes, someone or something really wonderful can make your day! 

Today, reading about Flora the pigmy Hippo at Whipsnade cheered me up no end. Some may have watched the TV zoo programme and know that Flora has cancer in her mouth, the zoo didn't think she would survive to raise her calf. Despite several operations, she is still doing well, and she gave birth to another calf on Boxing Day, so the vets must think she can raise this one as well!

Not a big thing when considered against all the suffering and injustice in our World, but it cheered me up!
