Clocks go forward next week.  Not sure how far but 4 - 6 months will do me this time.

I also preferred it. It was discontinued I believe because of complaints about dark mornings further north. Didn't really seem a good enough reason to me, how do they manage in countries where they only get a few hours of daylight. I suppose if independence ever becomes a reality there could be separate time zones north and south of the border.

When the Scots get independence they can have their own time zones👍🏻. I’ve always wondered when living in a democracy the majority are ruled by the minority-organise a plebiscite I say✊😊

Whilst you're all sleeping...wink the winter wheat is growing in the fields for next year (let's hope it stays a bit drier this time round) the winter veg are coming along nicely and it will soon be time to put the sprouts on for Christmas. tongue-out
