Merve, glad to see that you are to visit Abergavenny this week. An update on the weather, at the moment it is light rain but brightening up, a bit windy though. From Tuesday PM it is forecast fine and sunny for the rest of your stay (don't believe everything the "pale faced one" (Hereford Bull) tells you about "God's own county's weather either. Remember Pandy CC site is in the lea of the Black Mountains as is Abergavenny itself. There are loads of interesting things to see and places to visit here. Must visit places include St Marys Priory Church in Abergavenny, Big Pit Mining Museum in Blaenavon (free). A nice drive is up the valley from Llanvihangel to Hay on Wye, stop of at Llanthony Abbey ruins then continue over the Gospel Pass to Hay. From Hay you can go right and return via Hereford or left via Talgarth and the Black Mountains to Abergavenny. Hope this is of some use to you, we really are a friendly bunch in Y Fenni. Enjoy your stay
