Facetime and Skype

I am a fan of on-line face to face communication. It is the only open and honest way to communicate on-line, as facial expressions, smiles, frowns, cheeky grins etc convey much more than mere words.

Too often, with the old fashioned "text only" communication, words are miss-interpreted by the thin skinned and offence taken when there was none intended.

Now that it is possible to include more than two people in any skype session, it is great for discussions, debates and general chat.

There is no hiding place for trolls and keyboard warriors when skype is used.

Old fashioned Social media  like FB and Twitter cannot match Skype for real time communication in an open and transparent manner.

Skype and Facetime and other "face to face" video communication are the social media of the future.
