Excessive correspondence

We sent off application forms to apply for a postal vote about a week ago. We received letters saying that we had been allowed a postal vote and saying that we would receive further correspondence with the election paperwork in due course.

Then I received a letter enclosing an application form for a postal vote and asking me to complete and return it!

Another example.......rang the National Trust and asked about the reduced membership fee for being 60. They said that our original membership had my wife as lead member, so they would have to change it over - no problem.

Then received a letter saying that they had amended our details.

Then received a letter enclosing a new direct debit form.

Then received a letter enclosing a 'gift aid' form.

I rang them to sort out the direct debit etc.

Then received another letter confirming the change!

I did suggest to them that they didn't need to write again, but it seems that they must have plenty of money!

HMRC are the worst at wastage for no reaso-letter received in the past. . . .We've received your self assessment

We're not happy with your self assessment

                    Fill in this form

                    Fill in this smaller form

                    Your figures are wrong

                    You owe us X amount

                    You overpaid by X amount

We will reimburse you next year

Every year until I got an accountant on the case, the same thing happenedYell
