Electric bikes insurance

We have purchased 2 folding electric bikes for use primarily when we are caravanning. They will probably be kept in the car when we are in the caravan, but the car contents insurance is only up to £250 max.

our home buildings and contents insurance will cover the bikes when at our home location almost to their combined value, so don’t want to duplicate this cover.

our caravan is insured through the club, but without checking, similar to the car, I would doubt it would cover personal effects to this value.

has anyone had experience of getting insurance on high-value individual items e.g electric bikes, for when travelling or pitched in the caravan?

any help or advice appreciated.

I will need to look into this too as we now have two expensive ebikes but I noticed mention of 60 days with Halifax but that has been a problem with many household quotes and would not be enough for us.

Same here David we need 90 days away from home,  got this with camc but they don't cover the bikes. Will need to look around again when next due.
