Hi I am planning a trip to a campsite near Bakewell and Buxton, I am traveling up the M5 from South Wales and wondered the best way to get there when towing a caravan, I have never visited this area so have no knowledge of the best route to take.

Hi

Take the M5/M6 to J15 Stoke on Trent, then follow the ring road A500 around until you come off onto the A53 which will take you towards Leek. Through Leek and onto Buxton. If then heading to Bakewell just follow the signs for the A6. Fairly straightforward towing wise. Just a few ring roads to negotiate.

Not sure where you are heading for, a CL or Independent site? If so let me know and I might be able to give more details. Bring walking boots.laughing

Rather than getting this thread stuck in General Chat a moderator might move it to UK touring where you'll get more views.
