Depression

Following on from the tragic death of Robin Williams, depression is a very nasty illness.

I had a few bouts of it in my early 20’s, it was awful. Despite having a beautiful girlfriend, a nice car, money in my pocket, holidays to go to and a wonderful family life just seemed so bleak, there was nothing good at all that I could see, and that was just mild depression as I never felt suicidal so god knows how bad it is for those that suffer it full on.

Its not only the person that suffers but of course it’s the family and friends that suffer too.

Fortunately, in my case,  it eventually passed me by and I’ve never had it since but I’ll never forget it.

Has anybody else had it and got over it ?
