I do not know if this discussion has been mentioned before but having a very near miss with a van and trailer that pulled out directly in front of me that had no door mirrors then proceeded  to try and push me of the motorway. I have been looking at a few dash cams so I can monitor what is going on around me has anyone got one or know anything about them,I would pleased if someone could enlightened me.

We have a Trancend  cannot remember model off hand bought on Amazon  bought as it is one of the best on the market, we bought the cheaper of the two models and it is excellent.

I bought a dash cam for front and rear as I was nearly squished by a car carrier (I was on my way to work in my Hyundai i10).  It was really frightening.  So I bought a dash cam.  Its really good quality, but you need to also buy a scandisk to put in it and its on a loop.

Thanks for all the information you have given. Just bought a next base it's the new model the 312 gw obviously had to buy a sim card, very easy to set up and use took longer to hard wire, hopefully it will be OK I was always told let your eyes be your judge and your pocket your guide.

Last year we were invited in to our neighbours awning to watch their journey down to Sarlat, we left the site the following day bleary eyed

I have one made by snooper,When downloading info it gives speed, time, location, has a button to press to keep the event ( starts15 seconds before incident) if involved in a near miss so wont wipe off in in loop mode. depending what insureance company you use, you even get a small discount.
