Dairy Farmers

There was a report on our local news last night about the number of dairy farmers who are going out of business. They now only receive 24p per litre of milk compared to 34p at the end of 2013 and this is less than the cost of production. They put most of the blame on the supermarkets forcing prices down. I guess most of us take advantage of those low prices and buy our mlk from those very same supermarkets as there are few alternatives these days. So is there anything we can do to avoid the run down of the industry? Lobby supermarkets - not much chance of that working I fear. Any ideas anyone?  Undecided. Use left and right arrows to navigate.
