I defy anybody to cycle to work where I live!

My OH would have a go! Happy But he's crackers!

Must admit that I was a bit of a softy cyclist in my younger years. I only cycled to work a distance of 10 miles each way daily from North London to marble Arch on a fixed wheel jobby.

Gave up when I got knocked off by a lorry and the police were not interested.

cycle locally unless I'm buying too much stuff to carry on my bike.

I knew there was a reason I was driving about in a Land Rover . . . !

Can't cycle to work as I don't work any more but today I actually bought a bike - decided to get off the couch and do something before deterioration sets in!!

We bought rooftop cycle racks to take our bikes away on not working anymore outings, lots of stretching exercises required to bet bikes into position up above, yet to get them down for a ride!
